At Sage, we believe that menopause should be a transition—not a struggle. Led by Dr. Abisola Afolalu and backed by NorthShore DPC, Sage provides comprehensive, individualized care for women navigating menopause and perimenopause. We support women at every phase of this journey with medical expertise, emotional understanding, and long-term continuity of care.

Whether you’re just beginning to notice symptoms or already in the midst of hormonal shifts, Sage is here to help you feel informed, empowered, and supported.

What is menopause?

Menopause marks the natural end of a woman’s reproductive years, typically occurring between ages 45–55. It is officially diagnosed after 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period.

What is perimenopause?

Perimenopause is the transitional phase leading up to menopause. During this time, women may experience fluctuating hormone levels and various symptoms like irregular periods, hot flashes, and mood changes.
